Flower Beds

Hyde Park Flower Beds

Photobucket

Tuesday afternoon, resting on the benches in yesterdays post and taking in the sight of the parks flower beds. Hyde Park is looking very well at the moment and is a place to be proud of.

I'm showing these today because of a comment I got yesterday from Juley who lived in Hyde until the late sixties and remembers Hyde park quite well. She is new to blogging and I thought it would be nice to welcome her with these flowers beds from the park.

You can see the Band Stand in this shot, it is now getting more use than it did when I was growing up...

Those beds are so beautiful, and that park is stunning. What a great sight so late in the summer.

Oh!How my pigs would love your park. They would make short work of it and plow it up with their snouts. :)

It must be at least 8 years ago I haven't been strolling through Hyde Park, I never found the time. Since my son doesn't live in London anymore I only stop there for a few hours before I take the Eurostar home to Brussels. I will spend next week in Eastbourne with friends.

I really think British gardeners are the best in the world. These public beds are gorgeous, Tom!

Just to point out... this is not Hyde Park London... This is Hyde Park in HYDE Cheshire..... A small town park.... with world class gardeners ;O)

Trust somebody to mistake the location. I've not been in HP for quite some time. There are some lovely displays of flowers on Hyde Road at Mottram just now.

Thank you Tom for the beautiful photos of the park flowers and the nice mention! My Grandfather use to play in Adamsons Band in the 1930's and I know they played at Hyde Park Bandstand.
