Tomorrow is the day of the header challenge, which will see Darla ,
Fishing Guy , Imac and myself trying to win the 'Gold Shield'. The topic this week is 'Bark' and was picked by Darla who won last week and has the shield displayed. I will still be showing pictures from Early Bank woods... as it was full of this weeks topic choice. ;o)

I like these photos, Tom. I am always interested in woods, forests and whatnot. I get scared nowadays when I get in them. I am afraid I might fall or have a collapsed lung or something and not get back out. lol

Hi Abe..
As you know my health can stop me in my tracks sometimes... I to have thoughts like this... but a few years ago when I had my first bad heart attack I could have died sat in my chair... that might be comfy but not for me yet... ha!

Your pictures reminded me of Frost's poem.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there

Lovely walks in your woods. The tree roots look like the tree is walking through the woods as well as you.
