Carved Owl

This is just one of a few sculptures this park as commisioned and have placed throughout the grounds on what it calls a Sculpture Trail. I'll show more from here this week... tomorrow with be a pair of Badgers.

Well, these are nice owls. For some unknown reason I thought of "The Owl and the Pussycat" when I saw them. LOL

Someone must have spent a great time making those wooden sculpture. It was a real treat to see. One should have more of this sort of thing.

Hi Kaz.....
I hate tripe, I can here my mum now asking me to pick up some slut... ha! or thick seem...
I used to work for Tittertons Butchers in my youth.... the old dears who came in for tripe loved me... I hated to touch the stuff... they would come in and ask for a quarter of honeycomb, and I'd stick a pound in a bag just to get rid of it....
