Train Lines
Ashton Under Lyne
These lines are above Lower Wharf Street and are on a series of arches over he River Tame and the canal. I as walking back from the town centre of Ashton back to my friends Land Rover garage.
At the moment the old blue Land Rover is in for some much needed TLC... in fact I think I took it over one bump to many. Anyhow it is in very good hands with its rightful owner 'Leaky Roof'
At over 40 years old this vehicle sure is testament to just how well these are built and designed, even if the folk behind the wheel try their best to prove other wise... ;O)

When I first saw the pictures I thought: "Has Tom really gone off his hinges with car and started using the train lines for roads?" Luckily I discovered that it was otherwise :-)
40 Years?? That is impressive - and the new ones hardly look any different. No wonder it needs a bit of polish now and then. Lines or not.
Crikey, 40 years is a great innings!
Wow that's a rough ride. The land rover at 40 still looked good. Very lovely photos especially the railway track.

Forty years is a long time for anything. You did get some nice pictures too, Tom.
Patty had her eye surgery yesterday to remove a cataract on her left eye. She came through it OK and in a few days will be back to normal and seeing much better.
My my blog Pick a Peck of Pixels is the Flat Ear squirrel sitting in the snow, eating a peanut.
Holy Cow! 40 years? I think it deserves a little fine tuning.
