Ashton Under Lyne

These lines are above Lower Wharf Street and are on a series of arches over he River Tame and the canal. I as walking back from the town centre of Ashton back to my friends Land Rover garage.

At the moment the old blue Land Rover is in for some much needed TLC... in fact I think I took it over one bump to many. Anyhow it is in very good hands with its rightful owner 'Leaky Roof'

At over 40 years old this vehicle sure is testament to just how well these are built and designed, even if the folk behind the wheel try their best to prove other wise... ;O)

Road Signs

When roads have names such as these you know they are worth driving down. I drove all these fine roads last year looking around Saddleworth in the West Riding of Yorkshire.
