Rusty

Something I see lots of being in the NW of England. This was on a discarded wrought iron gate found in an hedgerow off Matley Lane. I like the pattern of the rust and the moss, both show how damp this summer as been.

What wonderful photos Tom. I have mixed reactions to rust as I love history and find the dampness takes so much of that away. It is beautiful those.
I will be back in cyberspace land soon and will catch up on my and everyone else's blogs soon.

Rust is great for photography (as you have shown here), but not always for everything else...

Even in rust there is beauty. Your damp weather certainly gives you colourful rust.

I have a thing about rusty buckets and such like. It's the colours. Such great subjects for photography.
