Trees and Arches

Taken in Ashton Under Lyne by the side of the river Tame on a damp day in June.

You know, Tom, this is right up my alley! An old, arched stone bridge with a frame of trees and from different angles. I liked it very much.

PS Thank you for the comment! Right now we are at our summer cottage and enjoying a heatwave, so blogging is more or less on autopilot (if at all) :-)

I hope you both are keeping well!

Love these arches. We have nothing like them in Canada so it looks very Old World to me. ;-)

Thanks so much for your kind words on my blog, and I wish you and Jane a happy weekend.

I enjoyed today's photographs very much. We have had a lot of rain and dreary skies here too, but today was a classic beautiful, sunny day until evening when the clouds returned.

In exchange for damp we get lush. Know the experience well this year, Tom! These are wonderful shots.

Great shots!
I half expect a Knight on a white horse to be riding in here somewhere. :)

Sorry you've had trouble loading my blog. I hope it works itself out.
