I must admit that I fell for those tracks leading into the distance - not to mention that dry stone wall (that is the correct expression?). I cannot see such thing without thinking of you.

PS If you drop by tomorrow, I'll have an unusual use of a Quarry for you...

Wow Tom!
I don't know which I like more.
Love the tree in the first and the colors in the first one.
The moon and the contrail in another. The stone - all lovely scenes for me to dream about. :)

RuneE is right about dry stone walls and thinking of your blog. How do you always manage to arrange those blue skies each week. The best of England always.

blue skies and green grass--it doesn't get any better than that!
Beautiful trees too. Always nicely done.
p.s. Loved the up close & personal 'portraits' of the mallards.
Happy weekend!

It's lovely to have so much green in your photo. I think if I stay there, I will have plenty of fresh air. Always love the countryside photos in your blog. Have a nice weekend, Tom.

Tom, in that beautifully green second shot, are they hedges in winter, are they stone walls, is it an easement or a raaceway, an old Roman road or just an optical illusion? Wharever it is it is such a lovely greensward, aha, that maybe its a ride...it is intrigueing wandering over the countryside like that.
