Are there no straight and tall trees in Britain. Or are you only interested in the twisted hardwoods?
I was interested in your admission as a comment on my blog of your fascination with space travel. I am not as impressed with it as I am with really smart accomplished women like Julie Payette, one of Canada's astonauts.
These are all such great photos and I have to agree I like the last one best. You might like some of the trees I have posted this week (I haven't figured out how to create a link in a comment!). Thanks for sharing your beautiful piece of the earth. Smiles
You show your landscape so well! I hope I get to England before my time here is up...but I haven't made it to Beijing yet so who knows? My daughter is applying to Oxford for graduate studies so maybe if life takes her there I will make a visit!! Hope all is well in Wigger's World!
Trees are a very interesting subject for photography. There is always a new angle to try. I especially liked the one with the fence - made out of wood, of course ;-)
Trees are a living thing that I have a great deal of respect for. I know this oak I planted about 20-25 years ago or more, shades my office is much of my house and it is always about 20 degrees cooler under it than out from under it. I would hate to live anywhere with out trees.
Hi Tom, I have been rather busy the past month and have remise in reading my favourite blogs and just read back on yours. The last to posts about your son's roofing career is amazing. The thought of being wayyyy up there makes my head spin. Even with the house staining I was doing, the homeowner did the high altitude stuff. Great posts and fab photos from a cell phone!!! Smiles and blessings

Thank goodness we're down to earth again. Those photos of Tom Junior on the roof were too scary!
