Definitely some instability growing over there Tom. Lovely towers... and I love the arch in that bridge.

I was near there today looking at Reddish South station but it was a bit too far to walk into the valley itself.

Hi Gerald
It a great place to go... I need to sort out the right road I need to take so I can park up in the valley... I have been parking at the top on one road and walking down to the reserve... thats fine but the walk back takes it out of me.

Fabulous shots! Love the arches against the sky! My favorite is the second one with the lovely water and countryside!

Happy SSS!

The first one made me go "oooh!" Victorian bridge builders are hard to beat!

I had wondered if you had been on a narrow boat and stopped for a photo shoot.

Beautiful views from Reddish Vale - none of them reddish! Love the viaduct.

Reddish. Where did that name come from? Always liked a viaduct, the water is usually freezing though as beautiful as these images are.

Made me laugh what you said about Mrs Nesbitt. Denise you are mad, in a lovely way though.

This looks like a nice place to spend a few quiet hours watching the river and sky. Like other commenters, I like the view through the arches best!

Hey Tom! Thanks for your visit. I have not been blogging much of late but am also enjoying having the time to pop round today. Your shots are lovely, so summery. I love the viaduct. Your part of the country really looks wonderful.

Be well and have a great weekend, bye for now!

Country views and its skies are a delight to my eyes! The greens are just enviable.

This is cutie (the first picture). Great to see some photographers artistic taste to capture the sky like the way you do.
Just love it!

I'd like to put myself in that second one on the bank of the stream and just take in that view of sky and water. Beautiful.
