White Dog Rose
Rosa canina

This is the common rose of English hedgerows
Just to let you all know that George is back home and doing well... his INR levels are falling and he is looking much better.

Tom: Cute photos of the wild rose.

Common rose seems like an oxymoron--but then, to have such beauty in many places is a measure of wealth, to be sure.

Glad George is doing better...I bet you guys are too. Some neighbors are more like family.

I like that close up of the center of that is fantastic.

We have a wild rose that grows here that looks much the same except it is pink. I sometimes collect the rose hips and make a jelly out of them.

I am glad your friend George is doing better.

Beautiful Tom. It seems like only yesterday that our country was covered in snow and now here we are in the throws of summer, how glorious!

I am so very glad to hear your neighbour George is feeling better. I think many bloggers thoughts are with him, and his family.
