Hi Tom, Loved these photos of Reddish Vale. Cold and wet in Perth so great to see some blue sky and green grass! Loved your comments on Hyde DP about the White Lion! Had many a beer in there and we used to joke that it was a holding pen for Hyde Cemetery! Happy days!

Ex Hydeonian.. thanks again for commenting. I was glad my comment on Geralds Hyde Daily give you a giggle.. The one thing I can say about the White Lion is that at least it is still going... The Talbot, Bee Hive, Bankfield, Bank Cottage, The Church, and the Crown have all been pulled down or are now shut, and thats the ones I can just think of.. :O)

Nice collection of shots Tom.
I particularly like the heron. I've been after taking a good photo of a heron since I got my new camera over a year ago - but so far no luck!

These are all nice photos, Tom. I like them and the Collared Dove puts me in mind of our Mourning Dove.

Personally, I like birds and flowers. ;-)

Love the grey heron. I'm still trying to capture the blue herons we have here. (Ha! Last night I captured the silhouettes of three as they flew overhead...but that's NOT what I'm really aiming for.) I see you have both doves and pigeons. ;-)

Grey heron is on my list to capture. Love herons they look like dinosaurs. We have a wood pigeon couple in the garden and collared doves but I'd love a cute duckling.
