Standing Stones
In the back ground can be seen the old brick barn I showed a day or two back... and at the side is the woodland path.

Carved Snake Bench
I am joining in again with Fridays bench theme which I enjoy very much. If you want to see other benches visit the following places where I am sure you will not be disapointed. Rune's Ancient Benches is a classic. Gerald's Every Street in Manchester is a great play on words and then there's Kerri & Perbs fantastic Bench Blog I'm sure you will enjoy them all
This bench is part of a Sculpture trail within Cheethams park.... it really makes for an interesting walk... if you want to see other's from this walk scroll down to the posts I did at the beginning of the week.
I did rest here awhile, and I can tell you it was very comfy.... I rested my arm on the snakes head and got a few stares from passer-bys.
A bench not to missed, or should I say 'HISSED' ha!

Sweet Chestnuts

Victorian humour ?
I have seen these many times in the past, and I had wondered what the inscriptions might mean. I took this set of pictures knowing I'd show them here on my blog once I found out what was wrote on them..
So I thought well this one will soon be solved... and I googled it as well....
ARVB
BINGSTO
NEFORAS
SES
Nothing at all, did not find anything..... but as I was typing it in I noticed something and realised what it said.... have ago, see if you can come up with it.
I will tell you what it says tomorrow if no body comes up with it...
