Cows and Kingfisher
Can you spot the Kingfisher?
Thirsty work making milk
This beauty caught my eye before the cows came into view..... but each time I was about to take a shot it flew further up the canal as the barge got nearer. The cows were just a bonus... if you look carefully at the first picture this Kingfisher is on the right, slightly above the cows heads on a over hanging branch... now can you see it?

BEAUTIFUL series
with a picturesque expression.
Reminds me of paintings by Claude Monet.... :)
HAPPY EASTER!
Ha! Love the cows! And, yes, the kingfisher is wonderful too. :)
Funny...thirsty cows!
Yep. I saw it, Tom. I wondered if that was it since I had never seen one before today.
Tom, these are all beautiful...I really need to come for a good visit when I don't have a million things praying on my mind. I have looked at these canal pictures but not fully taken them in. I would so love to see them in real life. That kingfisher is a real catch!
I can imagine the noise with all the grand kids there...I bet their mom and dad didn't know what to do with an evening and no children.
I hope you and Jane and the children have a wonderful Easter...there is nothing like the sound of a house full of happy children.
Tom: What beautiful colors on the bird. I knew the grass was always greener but the water also.
