Thanks to my friend Charlie for this great picture of the tree, Charlie tells me he has another picture for me of a tree that might be of interest.... so as soon as I get that one I will show it on here. This picture as not been altered in anyway.... no photo editing software as been use... just nature's very own sense of humour at work here.

yes the snow looked very pretty at 7.30 this morning before anyone walked through it. gone from roofs and pavements now but will be dicey if it freezes overnight.

Patty and I saw some amazing trees in Florida one year when we were there. Mostly like the one in your top picture. Nice post Tom.

I still cannot get over this! It really is like your friend caught an Ent out and about! He appears to have turned, been startled and is about to run!
