SIGHT SEEING

These are places I like to visit locally, each place looks better for what as been added there by man.... and with the wildlife I see in these parts all seems to fit together well enough.... if only this could be said about everything man as a hand in.

I collect photos of wind vanes and this is the first on I've ever seen with a fox on it. I like it a lot.

Yes, your English countryside certainly is easy on the eye, the soft light and weathered quality of man-made structures meld it into a pleasant whole.

well I can't say I recognise any of these places although the fox vane seems familiar.

I had forgotten how big those chimneys could be. Great collection of photos.

Beautiful collection of photos Tom. Like Gerald the fox vane seems very familiar. My guess for the 2nd last photo is Chadkirk Chapel at Romiley? Although I have never been there I do remember seeing and reading about this, perhaps on your blog?

Tom: A beautiful area of the country to capture man's accomplishments.

Those are some wonderfully peaceful scenes! The trees surrounding the cottage look huge.

What beautiful scenery! I like it as well. How pleasant it must be to be able to see this on a daily basis.
