Snow can certainly cause a lot of problems! Stay safe and warm my friend! All my best to Jane!

Hi Tom. It's been a while since I've commented, I hope all is well. Your snow pictures are beautiful. Newtown was covered in snow a couple of weeks ago but it's all gone now.

We are stuck in here too. We are OK as someone with a 4x4 shopped for essentials. With only main roads gritted it looks like being grim for a bit.
You make sure to stay in the warm.

This is a modest amount of snow like they usually get around Toronto in Southern Ontario. The first thing wrong with this picture is that under snow conditions there should be parking on only one side of the street. This allows the plow to pass. After it passes parking is allowed to switch to the other side so when the plow passes the next day it clears the first side of the street. It takes a plan and strategy to cope with snow. Apparently, there is little of this in Britain.

But of course, you do not have enough equipment of the right type to clear all the roads.

Years ago, I remember the old socialist mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut, when ill prepared to handle the snow there, said, "God put it there; God will take it away" and ignored the problem.

Smile and curl up with a good book,
The sun and heat will show up soon and the snow will become a memory.
