Yes, those flowers certainly did brighten up the day. It's been cool, rainy, damp and dreary here for the past several days. I find the best thing is to turn on lots of lights, urn the heat up a little and put on some jumping music. LOL Happy week-end.

Beautiful yellow flower Tom. Our flowers are gone now. The cold freezes got those that hung on but then not through much of that.

I have been working on my Japan blog again after hearing from some lady who wanted to see it one last time. So it will take a while. I am just now putting on the associated or related stuff.

Saw a couple of new hawks yesterday and this morning.

As usual, the blue jays came first screaming "HAWK" and the birds here all dove for cover and hid. The hawks came, stayed, I took some pictures, and they waited and then left. It was pouring down rain.

Tom: Those are beautiful macro shots, with vivid colors. They do indeed brighten the day.

I also liked the b&ws and the bench shots in Cheethams Park.

What a nice, cheery set of macros. Your lens is practically a microscope. Neat!
