Tom: What neat berries, do the birds eat them?

Tom said...

Yes the birds do eat them... and we can to. A very nice jelly can be made from them that is nice with game. I also think wine can be made as well from them.

I'm very jealous of your berries. This year we had a frost just as the flowers bloomed. And the local robins are very disappointed as they look forward to eating them in autumn after they ferment. Their rollicking good time has been spoiled.

I think this is the same tree I learned to call Mountain Ash. It is a lovely tree in all seasons.

Nature is just so exuberantly beautiful!

Thanks for the visit to see my crabapples. And your's are about the same size and color. We don't make jelly or jam. The birds eat them though.

Tom, I was looking for your bench, but these berries are just as great!. It shows that autumn has started already. Here the weather is unbalanced, now sunshine, some hours ago rain, yesterday a gale.
